Apple yesterday made a nice new addition to the iPod line, and gave it the longest and most inexplicable name of any iPod yet: the "iPod nano (PRODUCT)^RED".

Available in the 4GB capacity only, the new nano is identical to other 4GB nanos in the product line, with the exception that (a) it is red, and (b) $10 of the product's price is donated to the Global Fund to fight AIDS in Africa.
